High Mount Outdoor Intrusion Detection
The QX Infinity (QXI) series includes a selection of outdoor sensors for detecting intrusions, featuring both PIR and dual-technology setups. These sensors offer a detection range of 120° and cover an area of 12 meters (40 feet), making them suitable for both homes and businesses. With a stylish and compact design, the QXI Series can be installed at heights of up to 2. 7 meters, allowing for connection to either alarm panels or CCTV systems.
The QXI sensor serves as a versatile option for high-mount installations, enhancing OPTEX’s current short-range outdoor PIR options by delivering a wide-angle detection of 120 degrees over a span of 12 meters. These sensors can be mounted between 2. 2 meters and 2. 7 meters high, blending seamlessly into any residential or commercial structure while offering a multi-level detection pattern.
Equipped with advanced Quad technology, the QXI sensors include a pyro element redesigned by OPTEX, which enhances their detection capabilities. To ensure even more dependable performance and increased resistance to interference from light and RFI, the QXI series employs improved Super Multi-Dimensional Analysis (SMDA) logic along with Double Conductive Shielding.
