- A wall without eaves

- A pole or fence where sunlight is unobstructed

- Above eaves if they are under 3 meters in height.

eufy Homebase 2 and eufy Solar Panel Compatibility:

The SoloCam S40 operates as an independent battery camera without the need for HomeBase 2. Currently, HomeBase 2 and eufy Solar Panel are not compatible, but a supported version will be available in the future.
