- A pole or fence where sunlight is unobstructed

- Over eaves if they are under 3 meters high.

eufy Homebase 2 and eufy Solar Panel Connection: The SoloCam S40 functions as a stand-alone battery camera and does not require HomeBase 2. Currently, HomeBase 2 and eufy Solar Panel are not supported, but a compatible version will be available in the future.

Operational Conditions: The SoloCam S40 is equipped for any season and can withstand nearly any weather conditions. Its IP67 rating ensures it can endure rain, sleet, and snow.
