The QX Infinity (QXI) series is a collection of outdoor intrusion detection devices, including PIR and dual-technology options, that offer a detection area of 120° wide and 12 meters (40 feet). These sensors are suitable for both home and business use. With a stylish and compact design, the QXI series can be installed as high as 2. 7 meters and can activate alarm panels or CCTV systems.

The QXI serves as a versatile high-mount sensor that enhances OPTEX’s current short-range outdoor PIR offerings, delivering a wide angle of 120 degrees and a detection radius of 12 meters. These sensors can be installed at heights ranging from 2. 2 to 2. 7 meters, allowing them to blend seamlessly with any residential or commercial structure while establishing a multi-level volumetric detection pattern.

Equipped with innovative Quad technology, the QXI sensors feature a pyro element that OPTEX has optimized for improved detection capabilities. Additionally, the QXI series incorporates enhanced Super Multi-Dimensional Analysis (SMDA) logic and Double Conductive Shielding, which boost its sensing performance and offer greater resistance to light and RFI disturbances.
