Optex QXI-ST Outdoor Wide Angle PIR | Wired

The QX Infinity (QXI) series consists of a variety of outdoor PIR and dual-technology sensors that offer a detection range of 120° and 12 meters (40 feet). This range can be fine-tuned using the included masking strips. With a sleek and compact design, the QXI sensors are ideally suited for both residential and commercial properties, ensuring dependable intrusion protection that is tolerant to animals. The QXI-ST model is the wired version.

Adjustable installation height

The QXI outdoor intrusion sensors can be mounted high, between 2. 2 and 2. 7 meters, to create a multi-level detection pattern that can overlook small pets. When larger animals are present, the sensors can be placed lower, at heights of 0. 8 to 1. 2 meters, to establish a pet-friendly area.

False alarm reduction through detection analysis

These outdoor intruder sensors are constructed to remain unaffected by environmental conditions or small animals. Weather changes, moving vegetation, or pets within the detection space will not trigger the alarm, ensuring consistent outdoor surveillance. The series also includes double conductive shielding to minimize interference from visible light and radio frequency disturbances.
