Increases the distance between Wireless Devices and the Hub / Hub Plus

ReX enlarges the secure zone's limits. The range extender manages the devices connected to it, allowing users to position them far from the hub, such as in a multi-level office, a separate garage, or a large manufacturing facility. ReX enhances the signal distance, which may broaden the Ajax radio coverage area to as much as 16 square kilometers without any interference.

Improves adaptability within the Ajax ecosystem:

ReX serves as a dependable connection between the hub and Ajax devices. Depending on the needs, all detectors or just a few can function through this smart range extender. Additionally, the total number of devices linked to ReX does not influence the speed at which alarms are communicated.

Using standard range extenders can elevate the chance of losing alarm signals during their transmission, making them the vulnerable part of security systems. Conversely, ReX enhances the reliability and durability of Ajax to a higher level. Acting as the second command center after the hub, ReX organizes detectors into an independent group within the setup. If the link with the hub breaks unexpectedly, ReX takes over: it captures the alarm signal from the detector and triggers the siren to draw attention to the event and deter the intruder.

ReX operates on the advanced OS Malevich. This operating system has previously demonstrated its reliability, as it is utilized in Ajax hubs that secure numerous facilities worldwide. ReX possesses the same knowledge as the Ajax central panel, managing connected devices, making quick decisions, and remaining vigilant. The features and function of ReX in the security framework will keep expanding with the free updates of OS Malevich for all users.

ReX is safeguarded against both software and hardware intrusions. The OS Malevich powering ReX is impervious to viruses and exploits, thus averting disruptions caused by attacks targeting the firmware code. Hacking ReX through signal interception is impossible—the data that the device transmits and receives is encrypted. Even an unexpected power outage will not cause issues, as ReX includes a robust battery that maintains the security of the location.
