Warranties:
The Department of Labour requires that a certified Master electrician or trained electrical wireman install all batteries and inverters. Once the backup or solar system is installed, a legitimate electrical certificate of compliance (COC) must be issued, specifically for the installation. The installation must adhere to every aspect of SANS 10142. The warranty claim may be denied and the warranty claim rendered null and void if it is filed without installation pictures, a valid COC, and evidence that a trained wireman or master electrician installed the equipment.
