Installation Requirements & Guarantees

Only a certified Master Electrician or skilled electrical wireman with a current registration with the Department of Labor may carry out the installation.

Following installation, a legitimate Electrical Certificate of Compliance (COC) must be granted, particular to the solar or backup system.

The installation must adhere to all aspects of SANS 10142.

The following information must be included in any warranty claim:

Images of the setup

A valid Certificate of Compliance

evidence that a licensed electrician or Master Electrician carried out the installation

Not giving the aforementioned might invalidate the warranty.

With a 2-year warranty on the inverter and a 5-year guarantee on the battery, you may have peace of mind. To keep the warranty valid, the inverter must be installed by a trained electrician. Every warranty claim must include a Certificate of Compliance (COC).
