Following installation, a legitimate electrical certificate of compliance (COC) specific to the installation of the backup or solar system must be issued. The installation must adhere to ALL of the requirements of SANS 10142. The warranty claim may be denied and rendered void if it is made without installation images, a valid COC, and evidence that the device was installed by a licensed wireman or master electrician.
